Checking In: A Gentle Way to Reflect and Reset

We’re excited to share a special guest post from Badass ADHD Coaching and trust us, this is a reflection exercise everyone can benefit from, whether you have ADHD or not.

As we reach the halfway point of the year, it’s a natural moment to pause, take stock, and ask: How am I really doing? A gentle mid-year check-in can help you celebrate what’s working, notice what needs adjusting, and set realistic goals for the months ahead without the pressure of a big New Year’s resolution.

Why check in now?

Life changes, priorities shift, and challenges pop up. Taking time to reflect helps you stay flexible and build momentum instead of feeling stuck or disappointed. Start by noticing what’s working well even the small wins matter. Then, look at what could use a tweak and set one or two tiny, doable goals. Take a breath and recognize every small win along the way, they matter.
