Creating Attachments: Attachment Style Edition

Have you been exploring the relationships in your life? Wondering how to better know yourself and why you may respond the way you do? Join Holistic Consultation and Hannah Swarm as we explore attachment styles.

In this space, you will have the opportunity to take a quiz to identify your attachment style. Time will be spent learning about the different attachment styles and how they interact with others. There will be time for reflection to be able to think through actions and steps moving forward to benefit your relationships and friendships. Class size is limited so group members will have opportunities to interact with the therapist during class.

ACT in ACTion

"ACT in ACTion: Putting Knowledge and Skills into Practice"

Looking to put the skills you learned into action but feeling stuck? This group will review and dive deeper into the application of living through your values while using mindfulness-based coping skills. The group format will help you feel not as alone and isolated when faced with life's dilemmas. The group can provide support, brainstorm possible next steps, and guidance on how to address barriers. You do not need to complete a skills-based group like Building Balance or Getting Out of Your Head to Get Unstuck prior to joining. The group is every other week to help give time with an individual therapist and/or to put the skills into practice.

Day and Time: Tuesdays from 6 pm - 7 pm
Frequency and Duration: Every other Week, 1/9/24-5/14/24

Cost: $65 to insurance per 60-minute group session. Holistic Consultation will bill in network insurances and the client will be responsible for coinsurance or copay. Sliding fee scale available for individuals not covered by insurance.

Creative Corner: Wooden Pysanka - Ukrainian Easter Eggs

Join us at Co-Hatch in Polaris for a fun and interactive event where we will be exploring the traditional art of creating wooden Pysanka, Ukrainian Easter Eggs.

During this in-person event, you will have the opportunity to design with paint pens and create your very own Pysanka egg under the guidance of our experienced instructor, Natalie Waters. No prior artistic experience is required, so don't worry if you're a beginner!

Discover the joy of working with vibrant colors and intricate patterns as you bring your wooden Pysanka egg to life. This is a fantastic chance to learn a new skill, socialize with fellow art enthusiasts, and take home a unique piece of Ukrainian culture.

When the world can feel heavy, this can be a great space to be able to create items to send well wishes to others. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Ukrainian Cultural Association of Ohio.

Welcome to "Mindful Mondays," designed to set a positive and purposeful tone for the week ahead. Within this warm and inclusive space, we dive into the realms of meditation, mindfulness, and calming breathing exercises.

Welcome to our PhD & ADHD Support Group, a dedicated space especially for doctoral students grappling with the unique challenges that ADHD can bring to the academic journey. Some of the common themes we explore include:
