Rachel approaches therapy from an existential and strength-based perspective. She views therapeutic work as a companionship between the client and therapist. She collaborates with children ages four and up, young adults, adults and couples to support their ability to achieve their fullest potential through creating a safe place and bear witness to their experiences along their chosen path.

Her professional interests include Art Therapy, Yoga, and transpersonal perspective. Rachel has experience in working with the lifespan in grief, end of life care, and trauma. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, and trauma-related issues.

She received her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Columbia College Chicago. She received her master’s degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from The Adler School of Professional Psychology. Rachel is also a Board-Certified Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Rachel is a Doctoral Candidate at Florida State University Department of Art Education with Specialization in Art Therapy. Rachel has published and presented on art therapy and bereaved youth.

Rachel offers services full time from our Clintonville location and through teletherapy.
