Maria is a Social Worker with over 20 years of experience. She has worked with adolescents, adults, and couples.

Her current specializations include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self-confidence, substance use and relationship / marriage concerns.

Using a strength-based approach, Maria helps people with generational trauma, family conflict & relationships, and addiction recovery. Using a supportive, trauma-informed methodology she also assists people with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, and women’s issues.

She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Walden University and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Advanced Studies in Human Behavior at Capella University. Her experience ranges from Health promotion, chronic illness and HIV, substance use, hospital social work, forensic counseling, and working in foster care.

Maria currently offers services part-time via teletherapy.
