A Reminder About How Insurance Billing Works at Holistic Consultation
We want to make sure all of our clients have a clear understanding of how insurance billing works at our practice so there are no surprises when it comes to payment.
Your financial responsibility
Professional services are rendered and charged to you as the client, not to your insurance company. As a courtesy, our office submits claims to your primary insurance on your behalf. However, if a claim is denied by your insurance carrier, you are responsible for the full payment of services rendered.
Please note that Holistic Consultation does not submit claims to secondary or tertiary insurance carriers.
What we can bill for
In addition to therapy sessions, insurance companies may allow us to bill for test administration, scoring, and case complexity. These services will be billed according to your benefits, and standard copays and deductibles may apply.
