Erica Kittleson has earned her Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International, a nationally recognized credential for clinicians specializing in maternal and perinatal mental health. This is a significant step in her professional journey, and we could not be more proud of her commitment to this work.
What is the PMH-C?
The PMH-C is a specialized certification that recognizes clinicians who have demonstrated advanced knowledge and training in perinatal mental health. This includes support for people experiencing postpartum depression, perinatal anxiety, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, and the full range of emotional experiences that can accompany the transition to parenthood.
Postpartum Support International is the leading organization in this field, and their certification process sets a high bar. Clinicians who pursue it are signaling something important: that this population deserves specialized, informed care, not a generalist approach.
